We compare lawnmowers.
That's the whole thing.

MowRight UK is an independent, reader-supported lawnmower price guide for the UK. We don't take affiliate commissions, we don't accept manufacturer-sponsored placements, and we don't run paid review slots. The site is funded by unobtrusive display advertising. That's it.

Edited by Semir Kahrimanovic

MowRight UK is researched and edited by Semir Kahrimanovic, founder of Bozmaps, a UK-based research and mapping company. Semir grew up around small-engine repair, has owned petrol, electric, cordless and robotic mowers on UK lawns from 200 m² to 2,500 m², and started MowRight after one too many "best lawnmower 2024" listicles that turned out to be affiliate rankings.

How we research mowers

Every mower in the catalogue is researched from a consistent set of sources: manufacturer specifications, owner-review aggregates on Amazon UK, eBay UK, and dedicated mower-owner forums (Mowforum, GardenForumUK), independent expert reviews where they exist (Which?, Gardeners' World, Expert Reviews), and our own hands-on time with the models we've owned or operated. We don't claim to have personally tested all 151 mowers; where we have, the model page says so. Where we haven't, the verdict is drawn from triangulating owner reports rather than a single review.

Our full methodology — how we score value, what makes a model qualify, how we handle disagreements between sources, and how we update entries when new information comes in — is documented in our editorial policy.

About the price data

Three prices appear on every model page:

Prices on the internet move daily. Treat every figure on this site as a starting point for your own search and verify on the seller's page before you buy or offer.

Brands we cover

All 38 brands in our database have a dedicated page with focus, parent group, UK position, and full model list.

Trust & transparency

We publish four short policies so you can see exactly what we do and don't do:
