What data we collect

MowRight UK is a free, browser-based price guide. We do not ask you to register, sign in, or submit personal information. The only data we collect is anonymous usage information described below.

• Analytics data: aggregated, anonymous statistics about page views, browser type, country (not city), and which mowers you view. Used to improve the site.
• Server logs: our hosting provider (Vercel) logs your IP address and request information for up to 30 days for security and debugging.
• Advertising: if Google AdSense is enabled, third-party cookies may be used to serve relevant ads. You can opt out at adssettings.google.com.

Cookies

We use a minimal set of cookies:

• Essential: none currently. The site works without cookies.
• Analytics: if Google Analytics is enabled, it sets cookies to measure aggregate usage. Anonymised IP, no tracking across sites.
• Advertising: if AdSense is enabled, Google may set cookies to personalise ads. You can decline these via the cookie banner or your browser settings.

Legal basis (UK GDPR)

We process the limited data above under the lawful basis of legitimate interest (running and improving a free public website). For advertising cookies, we rely on consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

MowRight UK shows price ranges sourced from public listings on Facebook Marketplace, eBay UK, and manufacturer websites. We do not endorse any seller. Prices are estimates and change frequently — always verify on the seller's site before buying.

If we make material changes, we'll update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be flagged on the homepage for at least 30 days.
