Buying second-hand
Used-market tip
£50–110 used. PowerForAll battery is £40+ secondhand, so a battery-included sale is the only one worth doing. Check the battery cells via runtime — a healthy 4Ah does 25 mins; under 12 mins is a dead pack. Bosch motor is brushless and rarely fails.
Where to look: Facebook Marketplace and Gumtree are usually 20–30% cheaper than eBay UK for petrol mowers because most sellers want local pickup. eBay tends to win on cordless and electric (lighter, easier to ship). Always insist on a starting demonstration before paying.
