Our verdict
The bottom line
Punches above its weight on cut width and deck quality. The engine is the weak link — capable but not premium. Good value new, fair value used. The smarter buy than a Webb at £30 more.

Buying second-hand
Used-market tip
£90–150 used. Steel deck means rust is the killer — flip it and inspect the underside thoroughly. Engine starts can degrade over winter; ask the seller to fire it from cold. Generic engines have no real brand value but Hyundai parts are available.
Where to look: Facebook Marketplace and Gumtree are usually 20–30% cheaper than eBay UK for petrol mowers because most sellers want local pickup. eBay tends to win on cordless and electric (lighter, easier to ship). Always insist on a starting demonstration before paying.
