If you want a current G23 but do not need the HD's commercial frame, the LD is the answer. Same Japanese diesel reliability, lower price, and most domestic owners will never notice the missing duty cycle. Cricket clubs and contractors should still buy the HD.

Buying second-hand
£5000-8500 used. Hours under 1500 are excellent on any G23. Confirm it is the genuine LD and not a stripped-down HD, the frame stampings are visible behind the seat. Service history matters more than year on any Kubota diesel.
